I played this game years ago, "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe", which was a really fun flight sim at the time.

People keep using that 'ratings' excuse as if anyone would stop watching if they did show who died. They most popular show on TV right now, people are going to tune in no matter what. We all have our opinions.

For me, as far as story arc, etc. this was a good ending. It still showed his brutality like the comics. The person who died is part of the next story.

The last time they did a cliffhanger even somewhat like this was back in Season 4's finale. Season 5 opened up with their most watched premiere ever and I think of all time. Season 5 didn't really finish with a cliffhanger, and Season 6's opening was nowhere near that level. It would make sense AMC get the biggest cliffhanger possible so the season premiere gets as much money as possible.

Even when they asked Scott Gimple why he ended it there, he said "it made sense". Beyond that he struggled to explain. He didn't want that cliffhanger because he knows its poor storytelling, it was purely a marketing decision.

Disclaimer: I won't see 'tonight's' episode until it airs in the UK tomorrow. If you're going to say something about tonight's episode in the comments, pls don't spoil anything for me.

It's going to take all of my willpower to avoid the TWD subreddit and googling the episode until 9PM. I caved in last week and the episode wasn't as good for me (I haven't had an episode spoiled since Season 4) :P

When people from foreign countries say British they also usually mean English, which will probably result in a silent grudge between them and some Welsh, Scottish or Cornish person :P

I hate Trump and Cameron on an equal level. They're both bigots and neither know what it's like to not be rich. Even if Trump being unable to get PM in this country mattered, that doesn't change the fact we have an island mentality (thinking we're better than everyone else just because we're located away from other people) and the extreme mental stunting most people have here.
