Most YouTubers, will tell you, that they do not record in full screen. This is for a reason. Most have the same problem you do, but in a different direction. They have 16:10 screens, which causes black bars on the top and bottom. Resizing a windowed game, is much easier to record, its easier on the system and I do think Fraps enjoys it more for some reason. But no, if your screen is not a 16:9 resolution, and you want a 16:9 video.. you will not be able to play and record on full screen.
