Whats a good Screen Recorder?

yeah directx isn't a virus its meant for use of multimedia the latest version is 11.1 for windows 8 but obs might not want to work with 8 I'm still on 7......

you need that directx it is legit

I have 8 and it works fine on it.

The only thing I can think of is that the DirectX isn't installing properly for some reason.

Fraps works for W8, i have both. But you need to buy fraps cause if you don't it only let you record a certain amount of time like 30 sec or something, so it sucks.

Fraps works for win8 as I have it, but I prefer dxtory to fraps.

If CPU is a concern, though, you'd be better off just not trying.

So I installed OSB Alright. It had the Stream thing opened. Then I some how Exited out of it. And now I cant find it in My Cumputer anymore D:

Also CPU is not a concern. My laptop has a lot of memory and all.

So How do I Capture my screen then put this on my youtube?

capture screen? (there is also a capture game option) but right click on sources, click add, click whatever you need. also obs starts with the option to livestream you need to change it to save to a local file. you might just want to look up a tutorial on how to use OBS
