The title pretty much says it all. I'm in the market for a new one and was wondering what you all use. I previously used LB Photo Realistic Minecraft HD Texture Pack (256 x 256) but have grown tired of it.So, what do you use?
I 100% use Bordercraft (128x128). Have been addicted to it since I started using it ages ago. There isn't one block in it I consider ugly and it runs at a respectable frame rate for me.
I honestly prefer the default texture pack. I have used some different ones before but I always go back to the default.
I am very much like that myself, I switch computers so much that I just don't download them. but I like to switch it up every once in a while.
I use faithful 32x32. Its basically the default texture pack but prettied up a bitHere's the link to check it outhttp://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/72747-faithful-32x32-pack-updatemod-support-17-beta/
I use Minecraft4Kids. It's awesome and super pretty. The animals are so cute! And the mobs make me lol. I don't find any of the blocks ugly either.I used to use Bordercraft and I liked that one too. I just use MC4Kids because it's cuter <_<
I'm using Craftee Pack. It's another pack that's very close to default but with some subtle improvements, most notably the detailed armor.
I'm using the Painterly Pack. It's HIGHLY customizable - as in there are usually 10 or more textures you can choose for every type of block in the game. You can mix and match so many different images; I have created at least five different packs using the different textures they have. Some are nicer looking versions of the original textures, some are totally and completely different from the originals. I like to have options.
I had used one of the default Painterly packs before, but not for long. I just finished fine-tuning a completely custom pack and I'm very pleased with it.
can you share it it? You should be able to post a new thread and attach a zip, but I understand if you don't want to.
Unless I've missed something obvious, I can't upload the file because it's too large. It's only 1,170 KB, but I assume the limit is 1 MB. Regardless, here is a link to the pack: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/1314436948.8366.zip?w=2b60d9b1&dl=1Some notable features are:Light colour scheme, including light coloured wood, stone and UI.Beautiful orange moon and dual suns (Did you know that single star systems, like our Solar System, are actually a rarity?)Smooth biome-compliant grass and leaves, giving a nice range of colourOrnate stone half-blocks and hieroglyphic sandstone for aestheticsNetherrack is now semi-cooled magmaOriental paintings
