  6. If you want to see if its a 'player renamed' item, what you 'should' be able to do it toss it in a picture frame.
    If the text turns white, then a player renamed it.
    I renamed one 'dragon scales' and it looks BOSS next to my fragments.
    The shiny flesh text turns from that gold color to the blue color you see.
    However putting it into a picture frame changes the item name color from that light blue to white.
    Putting shiny flesh into a picture frame, you will still see the gold colored name of the shiny flesh.

    You can have some fun renaming shiny arrows too.
