This ice farm is very expensive
So here is how it works

As you can see, this is the basic design for each individual sticky (used a regular because i was afraid i would lose it.)

And this is how it looks when powered (redstone torch)

This is the line of rows, no stickies laid yet as i was still testing and afraid of losing them

I have a few rows of them, best design is a square. Mine is a little big, requiring me to have to break redstone for the circuit to completely disconnect.

This is what the top looks like. When you flick the switch, it lets the water out and the pool is filled (ignore the rows). Then you can suck it back in, but it is still there Thats right, not constantly filling rows with buckets!

I use a switch (off screen), but Etho uses a button, and i will soon The stickies push up (and pull down) soon to be snow blocks in the slots (they arent affected by efficiency tools), and that creates a lot of edges. Ice freezes faster along edges, making this the fastest way to get water to freeze. When its all frozen, have the pistons pull the blocks down, and jump in with the silk touch. Once all the ice is harvested, restart the cycle!
