  7. I prefer ladders unless I'm using them for decoration, mainly because you need shears to work with vines. I didn't know they blocked you from mobs. That's good to know.

    Have any of you successfully climbed a vine hanging from a tree?

  8. anytime i try to i just walk right through the block too bad you need to have a block behind the vines to climb up them otherwise i would use them more often

  9. I'll take that as a "no" from you :) I've tried climbing them and have gotten pretty far up but I eventually slide off and fall.
