  4. I spawned a snow golem in the frontier, and he didn't make snow. Not sure, but it seems that only blizz himself will make snow

  5. I had a snow golem farm in my extreme hills frontier base, so that's not it. And when the biome is not suited for snow golems (desert, savannah and maybe jungle) they die instantly, not just don't leave a trail of snow.
