(Turkey Hunting) Tips

  1. Go to the End and find a relatively medium sized island.

    Wait for Turkey to Spawn

The spawn will thus be forced on the island you're on which means the turkey will be easier to find and trap.

Once you've trapped the turkey use your looting III sword and strike it down....

May the force be with you.
  2. Tip #2

Turkeys are capped @ diff 5

Didn't know this until this year.
    3rd time around.
Been killing on diff 10 and wasting so much time.

  3. Didn't notice this until now, so one small comment: an island won't really help because although the island may be isolated, any underground cave system could easily stretch out well beyond the island. And turkeys can spawn anywhere on the y axis.

And well, if they spawn somewhere under the sea around you then you'd have an even harder time ;)

So before relying on islands be sure you're familiar with the underground caving system.
  4. There is cave systems under end islands ? Learn something new every day I guess lol...

  5. "oops"

Totally overlooked the End part, I guess that's the End of that concern, I need more coffee ;)

  6. lol, thanks for the tip Shel, but as Crafter pointed out. My hunting tip was for the End Zone, the winners circle... The hunk of stone hovering over the void of no return...

Any and all tips for any biome/world are welcomed as we no doubt will have random turkeys everywhere.
  7. TIP: don't strike turkey until you have it trapped... EG: simply take out 2 blocks below it and fall in with it. Let the beatings continue until the morale improves, the sword breaks or the turkey dies!
