  1. That is an awesome idea great suggestion

  2. Make it a rare item, and it will likely be worth more than it's worth...
  3. Free money is always a good thing. Lol
  4. It's good idea but I don't seeing it being applied to Emc because /rupee command. Although many member do pinks slips for events as prizes. Making this a feature would be pointless to a extent.
  5. Yep. If this is implemented, I would actually build myself a casino too :p
    Well, erm...
I suppose it could work as a 'bank' but... It should be like putting rupees into your vault. ;3
Speaking of which, I remember a while ago I suggested like rupee vaults/banks per person. >_<

In sight of this idea, a lot of good things come with it, not just the new item(s) itself. I don't think it should be auction-able unless the staff add a bonus to it like "PLUS 2 extra vault pages" :p
It'd be pointless without a 'bonus' to it, other than just the rupees ;3 :p

  6. Definitely not auctionable, you'd just end up with silly amounts of 1r and if you can acquire one at any time, which is what you're suggesting, they wouldn't be rare at all.

I also don't think Soulbound is a necessarily lore, that should be reserved for incredibly valuable items.

It's a good idea, but we have books the drop party hosts can sign, so I'm not sure if it's totally necessary. I'm all about not fixing what isn't broken. :p
  7. Very understandable comments - the only one I am thinking this is a good idea for is the casinos and birthdays, drop parties and so on, as a book is not a right click to redeem and you would have to hunt down the player to get your present/prize :p Maybe this rupee voucher could be an item you have to get from an admin, pay the admin the money and they give you the right click to claim voucher. Then you can pop it in your drop party droppers or a birthday chest etc, and then the person who obtains it can just claim it and hey presto :)

    Maybe the layout could be:

    Rupee Voucher
Right click to claim [rupee amount]

Or something similar to that...anyways that's my view :p
  8. Yeah, if it was implemented it should be automatic though, I don't think any staff want about 20 PM's a day asking for vouchers :p

  9. It would be better if there was a command to turn rupees into vouchers like

    /rupee voucher purchase 2000

    Or something along those lines

I have no idea what a pink slip is, but if it is a "Turn into [Playername] for [amount of rupees]", the voucher wouldn't make you track down one person who may or may not be online when you are. A simple right click, and you got yo' rupeez

  10. Cough the epic new opportunities for casinos

  11. One possible advantage of this I can see... it would allow automatic payment to be possible, with a cleverly made item sorter.

    It has its disadvantages though.
  12. What are the disadvantages

Auto payments, casinos, events, prizes, gifts, I don't see what can be bad.
  13. Possible scamming. I know it sounds unlikely, but it's a possibility. People using this to avoid the shop system etc.
  14. People can scam with regular vouchers, so what would be the difference?
  15. True point
  16. Hmm... It's true this could happen, but, it'd be fixable if you had the players name on the voucher.
Like "This voucher is worth [amount] and is from [player name]" So, whenever someone used it, it'd be trackable on the rupee logs.
;3 The downside with this option is, Casinos and other events/places would be thought of as scamming all the time, when it is just games... >_<
  17. How could someone scam with either of these vouchers?
  18. Get paper, Rename to voucher. Trick new player. Bam. You scammed. But obviously the older players will know this trick. The problem on what Jack said is that you can scam, even though you can scam with regular vouchers anyway. Also, I have seen people scam in chat saying, "Everyone is owing fines to the bank, please do /r pay {playername} 2000 to not overdue" or something like that.

So in retrospect, this idea is really good. But a tweak that they will need to do is make official emc text, having soulbound and saying, Official EMC Rupee Voucher under it.
