At the time of this posting, you get an error message when you use "/res tag list" on a res you do not own. This is very inconvenient - if I'm on a residence and I want to know how to get back to it, I want to be able to see the tags that a player has added to it to help me! No one adds a tag to a res without intending for players to use it. I'd like to suggest that this command be made usable on all residences by all players. I'd also like to see "/res info" display this information under the "res number" listing.
I say +0.5. This is still a suggestion I'd like to see implemented, but I'd like it to be optionally toggled off one way or another. And then there's also the ordeal of having to deal with multiple reses having the same tag.
I think this one would be beneficial but have very little negative impact on play. You go to a res you think is neat and find out that you can revisit it with +tag That's a happy day! Normally, if you see a shop you like, they have a sign that says "to come back use +tag " Not sure if there is a downside, other than not wanting players to know that tag for your res.... if that is what you meant for "toggled off" And this does nothing for multiple res having the same +tag - there should be no impact whatsoever to multiple locations sharing the tag. It already happens. plus +100
I don’t feel like this is as cut and dry as you think, in regards to everyone wanting their tags to be public. I think there are a lot of people who might not want their full list of res tags to be public knowledge. I know that for myself, I have used res tags as a method to shorten teleport commands to my personal reses. A tag is quicker to type than a res number (which can be hard to remember) or res owner (which I sometimes forget with my alts) and then the res location. I can’t think of any instance where I would want these “private” but I don’t think I would have wanted the default option to have them be public. I see this in the same regard as /togglepreview - default off, with option for res owners to enable as a flag. Shops and such may like to provide this feature to their shoppers, but average res owners may not always like it.
I have no objection to this stipulation, though I personally don't see the use. What'd ya think, staff? Can we have it?
