  1. Hey EMC,

    Have you finished a Road edit, but want to edit something on the road? (Just place Say a few blocks that run into town?

    This would either work 1 of 2 ways;

    First way would to have a set cost if you have to add something say a few blocks in town where a beacon runs into, or a part of a build that sticks out but is not worth a full build as its less than a stack of items.... Then it would have a slightly cheaper cost.

    The other way, would be, If you got a Road edit done, and after you paid, you have a set time frame to add/alter something to the roads for a reduced price.

    Let me know what you think of it,

  2. I'm not too sure.

    We had a fixed price before and quite frankly: it wasn't exactly fair towards players who only wanted minor edits. Do note that I never had an issue with it, but as a player who asked for simple edits I think the new system is more fair. Example: I like "utility connections" between my main residences. In other words: 2 tracks & 2 redstone trails, just placed on the dirt (or bedrock) because this isn't about looks but functionality. I used to pay (I think) around 10 - 20k for that. Basically for having a staffer teleport over, grab the stuff from creative, place it, and done. 3 min work?

    So I can't help prefer the current system because it also keeps smaller edits in mind.

    Then, as to edits afterwards.... There is of course something as preparing and making sure. But I'll also be the first to say that there's a huge difference between theory & reality. So yeah, I have to agree: if a player paid solid money for a more complex edit (20 - 30k and up) then I think it's fair if he can request minor changes to happen within 24hours. But within reason!

    So 1 minor edit session and up to, say, 3 changes.

  3. Hm... I am not too sure as I don't have experience with road edits, and I'm not too sure on the current policy either.
    Judging from Shel's post I assume it's been changed, but I don't recall reading about that.
    How does it work as of now?
  4. It does not work as what i have stated, As even if you want to add something that you forgot, its the full charge as before. I got some roads placed and cost 40k, forgot a few iron blocks, and got it changed less than 3 days later and cost me another 40k. There is no time to edit stuff that you have forgot on you roads...
