There are a lot of interesting tweaks I think I'm hearing while playing the RC of 1.0 as well. TNT on stone makes a noise as if tons of mini pebbles are hitting the ground.

Honestly I had no idea that MC had sneak updates like that. Kind of bothers me when software does that....

here's hoping the 1.0 release wont be a "sneak" update like the sound was...

Edit: someone has already made a client mod to change it back.....lol

I personally like these new sounds, but I can see them getting annoying really fast. It seems that these sounds are only coming from spoutcraft though. My normal Minecraft seems to be using the same sounds as normal.

really in my single player i also got the new sounds!! i dont know if i should like or hat them!!
