  2. it has the same number of uses, you may use it up a bit quicker, but thats because the time it takes to mine is less, not because the number of uses is lower, read the wiki man, its there for a reason

    What would be the point of an enchant that makes your pick last shorter?
    It is more efficient by +50% per level (according to wiki).
    Efficiency IV makes it mine 3 times faster than a normal pick.
