At least I know the area I was in was reasonably well lit up. My main worry is lava. I was digging around with an Eff IV pick looking for some I could hear.
serial, from my understanding, creepers like anything that doesn't appear to be other creepers... but you are right, they do love that.
Actually, I'll tell how it is and sorry for of topic. When I joined to empire I went to hunt creepers in the wild for gunpowder. They were nowhere to be found! I killed maybe 1-3 creepers in one night. But later on when i had more important stuff to do, everytime I just stopped for a bit and focused on something else (take a bite of sandwich, talk to someone etc.) creepers came and blow me to pieces - ok not really beceause of armor, but still annoying. It took only 2 seconds haha.
thanks serial.... on a side note, any word from JustinGuy about what the problem is, or an ETA? Seems to be from the first error that the server needed re-booted, and maybe a quick look at the DB to see if there was a linking error. Anything?

There should be no database errors... but all of the databases the servers run off of are on the same server as Utopia. Justin has explained this before... and this is IMO a great job of someone piecing that together with the issues.
Yeah :/ I am in the process of leaving my job and moving so I have been under a rock I guess, you got me there. The good news: ALL SERVERS ARE BACK ONLINE! Sorry about the issues all, the master database server crashed.
