   Residences cannot be auctioned, the whole point of PMing Todd is so that he can find the highest amount someone is willing to pay. Just offer him the highest that you would as if it was an anonymous auction. If someone else goes higher, he can tell you, or take all the offers and decide who he wants to finally sell to.. if that makes sense.
