Redstone help?

Discussion in 'Community Discussion' started by LunarEndergirl, Nov 4, 2019.

  1. I just got done building a universal wood farm, but the pistons don't work right. They don't move the tree towards the output location and out. Instead they move the tree back onto the dirt block that they grew from. Which I then have to unclogged manually. Any help would be great!

  2. Is this correct?

Where the black line are the pistons?

If this is the case, are the pistons sticky? If so, make sure they are only regular pistons.

To me, it sounds like the tree is growing, the pistons are activating, pushing the wood and then pulling the wood back. This logically means that the pistons are sticky.

I don't know anything about redstone. Total guess.

  3. My output pistons look like this.

All the rest of the piston banks are made from regular pistons.

  4. I think those pistons need to be regular as well. The wood won't move back with regular pistons. Try that out and let me know how it goes.

If I am wrong, somebody please correct me.

  5. Changed them out for regular ones, but now the tree just stays in the middle of the farm.

Edit: Playing around with it further, it looks to me that all of the piston walls are activating at the same time.

  7. Sure. What time would you like to come over?

  8. I'm available right now, are you online right now?

(I'll just need the place and location when I get onto the same SMP.)
