Questions About Bows

I recently wondered about this so I thought I might as well ask.

1. Do tipped arrows shot by a player at another player give that other player the potion effects?
2. If no to question 1 do tipped arrow work in the pvp arenas?
3. How much fire damage does the custom flame 2 bow compared to the normal flame 1 enchantment, which does 4 ().

1. No, I do not think so.
2. I believe so?
3. I do not know.

1. If you're asking if the shooter gets the effects of the arrow then the answer is no; only the entity (includes players) that is hit receives the effect.
2. I've tested them in the ones at /games and they worked there.
3. They stay on fire longer with flame 2 than with flame 1 just like fire aspect , but i do not know the exact numbers. You could look into fire aspect and see if flame has the same time of fire.

I heard flame II does nothing compared to flame I, could be mistaken though

I've used both flame I and flame II bows and there's a noticeable difference.
