   I see it this way: There's no requirement for anybody to announce what their sexual preferences are. Telling the truth does not mean spilling your guts about every personal detail of your life. Even if someone had the gall to ask directly, you have every right to say that you don't think that is an appropriate subject of conversation and they can mind their own business.
   
   Not talking about your sexual preferences hetero- or homo- sexual doesn't necessarily mean you are hiding them. I don't usually talk about sex, money, religion, politics, or health details with everyone I meet either. You don't see it on my Facebook page and I don't stand up at meetings and announce it either. That doesn't mean I'm being dishonest about them.
