  1. Greetings, if you have been following with my new in-game religion, Narseism, you might of known that it has many different gods. So, this thread will be dedicated to the different gods, goddesses, monsters and other creatures of Narseism. I do hope you enjoy, as a put a lot of time and effort in this.

My main inspirations are from Norse and Greek Mythology.

    Types of gods:

Main gods: These are the gods who were not only the first gods, but the core of our reality. They are undoubtedly the most powerful and most important entities.

First gods: These were the first gods created by Skaperen, originally made to fight the titans. These gods are the most powerful and are considered some of the main gods.

Earth gods: These are the gods of the earth, they do not have as much power as the first gods, but they are still powerful nonetheless. Their purpose is to control certain elements of our world and to be in charge of certain pieces of Narse culture.

Evil gods: These are gods, just as the same as the Earth gods, except they were either created evil, or turned evil. These gods are the causes of bad morales in our world and are nothing to be praised.

Demi gods: These gods are gods who are half human, half god, (basically humans with super powers). They do not control a specific thing, but hold power to them which allows them to do quite a bit on the earth, (Take hercules for example).

  2. Vann
    Description:
Vann is the god of sea and water. He is the original builder of Atlantis and controls the seas, oceans, and all bodies of water. He is also the cause of rain storms, which are caused when he is angry or upset. Tsunamis and other water related disasters are the result of his rage. He is a first wave god.

    Creation & Birth:
Vann was created in the sea at the bottom of the space when Skaperen first stepped foot in the deep radioactive waves. Vann was then formed, and he was given the role of god of the Sea.

    Purpose:
Vann is the god of the sea, so his task is to look after it and keep travelers who venture in the waters safe from harm. This is why the Narse vikings create an ornament head of Vann at the front of their long boats, as a way of protection. If there are any unworthy vikings upon the ship they are sure to be swallowed up by the waves and never to be seen again. To avoid such a fatal death, each viking is sure to cleanse their hearts before every water voyage. They do this by dipping their heads in the water and announce their loyalty to Vann. During pillages and conflict where getting onto their ships quickly is important, vikings usually have a shell or rock from the ocean on them so they will be protected.
Although Vann is meant to protect all who lurk in the waters who mean no harm to him, he does not obey his purpose, and lets deadly sea creatures like the the Kraken and other deadly creatures habit the waters of the earth. He also commonly causes tsunamis and rainstorms as he gets upset very much.

Mood & Personality: Vann is a very ignorant, arrogant and moody god. He is very strong and is sure to boast his strength and awards among the other gods. He is also very ignorant to the damage he causes, by letting evil sea creatures rampant and also by his destructive nature. His moody and upset nature is very dangerous, as he gets upset and angry very easily, causing mass tsunamis and storms.

Powers: Being one of the first gods who battled the titans, you can probably see why he is so powerful.
He has total control over all bodies of water, including lakes and rivers. Basically, he has enough power to totally flood the whole earth within a matter of seconds or completely drain the earth of water. Luckily he doesn't do this though. Vann is very strong as well, strong enough to not only cause waves the size of Mt. Everest just by clapping his hands in the water, but he is also strong enough to go hand to hand with almost every Titan he went against during the War of The Titans. In shorter words, he is incredibly powerful, you shouldn't mess with him, and that's why he is so praised in Narse culture, no one wants to be destroyed like the titans.

Appearance: Vann is a quite large figure in appearance. He is incredibly tall and extremely muscular. He is seen with blueish gray or greenish gray skin, depending on if he is in water or not. His skin is very scaly, it can even act as a form of armour. He is in fact. naked outside of water, but in water takes the form of a merman, or if he wants he can transform his legs into octopus tentacles. He has long brown locks and a very long beard. On top of his head is a crown made up of the jewels of the ocean and crafted by the waves. In his hand, he holds a trident, with it, he has absolute control over all bodies of water, and with it he can summon sea creatures and even destroy them. He also has the ability to shoot lightning from the trident.

Relations: Vann shares a relation with Skaperen, like every other god, as he was formed by the foot of Skaperen who stepped foot in the sea at the bottom of space. Vann has also had many love interests with other goddesses, once with Jord, but she quickly dumped him, as he was too arrogant, this infuriated Vann and caused him to create a wave so massive it flooded all of South America and took 5 million years before it fully drained out. Vann not only had a love relationship with Jord, but multiple women in Atlantis, who he had many children with. He also at one point had a relationship with his sister, Vevn, but he cheated on her with another woman. Vann has also had a few feuds with Sol, the god of the sun and the sky.

Yes, I am full aware this is a picture of Poseidin, but this is just for reference.
  3. Sol
    Description:
Sol is the god of the sun. He is the most powerful First god as he has total control of light, the sky and the sun. He was the lead contender in the war against the titans, as he himself battled over 5,000 titans alone and transformed them into separate suns. He has set a solar empire on the Sun, which he lives on.

    Creation & Birth:
Sol was conceived by his father, Skaperen, and his mother Soster. When he was birthed, he contracted the light energy from Skaperen and was given solar powers.

    Purpose:
After battling the titans, and killing most of them, he eventually hid away for a few years and constructed a massive solar empire on the sun. There, he rests and makes merry within his empire, as he is served by his many servants and plentiful amount of beautiful wives. Although, after he destroyed the Titans, he became less useful, as his only purpose is to control the sun. Although, he is still very powerful and is called upon during tough battles within the cosmos, where he quickly erases of most threats. Since there are very few threats within the solar system itself, he gets very bored and usually plays around with the people of the earth who worship him. He has the choice to give farmers plentiful of sunlight, or give them shade, even if no clouds are within the sky. With these powers, he has a few cult followers who worship him and pray for his sunlight to strengthen their crops and to provide them with light and energy.

    Mood & Personality
Sol is not a very moody god, unlike Vann, although Sol gets very bored, and his boredom can result in messing around with the people of the earth, which usually leads to death, famine, and poor crop results. Luckily, most of his time is spent in his kingdom, where he is served by many servants, and pleased by his beautiful wives. With this in mind, he gets sometimes gets occupied with entertainment within his kingdom, although most of his time is spent in boredom. Sol does not get very angry though, and it is very lucky that he never does. This is evidence as the sun has still been shining bright for billions of years. When he does get angry though, he usually sends scorching heat down to the earth, which results in droughts, dead crops, unsettled and even deceased people.

    Powers:
Sol's powers are not to be underestimated. As he stores overwhelming amounts of energy within himself, he has the power to completely wipe out entire solar systems. Not only that though, but he also holds immense strength, and fought alone against 5,000 powerful titans, whom he turned into suns which scatter our galaxy. Luckily though, he does not prefer destroying any galaxies, but, he still has the power to send excruciating heat onto earth which kills crops, sends droughts, and even kill humans. He has done it before as well, and he will do it again, which is the reason why he has a large cult following which worship him. Worshipers of Sol are said to be safe from his wrath, and some of his followers are even powerful enough to be able to look into the sun without eye damage. Of course though, no one can be safe from Sol. He is even said to be stronger than Vann.

    Appearance:
As being the god of solar energy, Sol's body is mainly made up of pure solar energy, and immense heat pulses from him. As being son of Skaperen, he possess the body of a man, and so he is usually seen wearing flowing loin cloth, fitted with long flowing hair and a deadly gaze. His weapon of choice of course is his fists, but he also uses a Sun Staff, with which he can manipulate all light and solar energy. Like some other gods, he has the power to change his appearance, and so outside of his human body form he is seen as a floating source of bright energy which is his soul.

    Relations:
Sol is the son of Skaperen and Soster, whom he was conceived by. His relations do not really expand further, as he is mostly known to be staying at his Sun Kingdom, although he is said to have many solar daughters, who he conceived with his many solar wives, one of which, being Sumera, whom he birthed an entire portion of his empire with. He rivals a lot with Vann, as they both struggle to see who holds greater power.
