  3. 1 GB of RAM isn't very much for a Minecraft server. I won't believe you have very many players on that server. :p

  9. 1gb cant have more thn about 10 people unless you want lag... My servers running on 24gb of RAM (the SG one).

  13. Each EMC server had 64GB and each server has 2 servers on it. So 32gb a server.

  15. It does. There's 2 EMC servers on a one 64GB dedicated server, So each will have 32GB to play with.

    For the nerds out there here are our server specifications. The Empire Platform is managed by a 24/7 on call systems administrator that has lots of enterprise experience running high performance platforms. We perform hourly "diff" backups and daily off-site backups.
    • Dual - Quad-Core Xeon X5550's (2.66 GHz, 6.40 GT/s)
    • 64GB of ram (DDR3-1066)
    • 4 x 450GB SAS RAID 10
    • 1,000 Mbps Ethernet

  18. As far as I know, it's dedicated hardware - so only EMC servers (Minecraft/Database) are on it.
