Just a note: If you are currently connected to the Mojang website. It is currently up but leaving the page may crash the browser. If you try to connect now it will not load or load very slowly. (This all depends on computer speed)

If you are already on-line then you are not logging in so you have no issue, the logg in server (Mojang Server) checks your credentials before letting access EMC server to play. With Mojang down there is no connection to EMC servers.

As RainbowChin said ppl who are already on line can play as long as they dont log off, if they do they will not be able to access the EMC server if they try to log back in.
