I have no idea what is happening, please help!

My internet has gotten VERY slow. I think you are right with this one. To reset my router, do I just unplug it, or is there more? Or is it possible my ISP is having some troubles right now?

Just press the reset button on it, it should be somewhere around the back depending on what kind you have or you can unplug the power cord, possibly black?

Ok so a few more details:
If I do /town, then relog I spawn UNDER town spawn. I am able to "break" block in Town Spawn, but it isnt visible to anybody but me. I do not get the block when I break it. If I do /wild then relog, I spawn under WILD spawn as well.

You could try opening Task manager and Ending Task. Another thing that seems to help me at times when I'm having issues is to go to Control Panel>Java>Settings>Delete Files
