Hello all, I'm interesting in killing enraged mobs for their drops so I'm building a platform roughly 15 blocks below build limit. My thinking is the platform is so high off the ocean mobs won't spawn below the platform. To increase the spawns, even during the day, I'm considering putting a roof on it. Before I do that I'd like to know if boss mobs would spawn in the "building" and how much height I need to provide for them. I believe Momentus is the tallest one out there so anyone know how much space he needs? Marlix probably won't spawn inside since they are always flying around.
all bosses from testing ive done ages ago wont spawn unless they have access to sky, so if theres a roof above them they wont spawn. best biome to farm enraged in is dark oak because you can get the dark oak spawning enraged and you can get them to spawn by building certan structures on the platfrom regularly as they wont spawn unless they have a block above them
