   Looking for recommendations for safe websites to find approved mods like forge and voxel map. Anyone have any suggestions?

   I think you could just Google for the name of the mod and choose the first non-sponsored site. Just look around a bit on it, it'll usually be clear that it's the official website. And I think you can trust official websites, most of the time (except for flash player's, of course).
