ya people think goldfish should be treated like crap just because their small and stupid (NO OFFENSE) their living creature to right???

I think most of the time they're given as prizes since you can get them as "feeder fish" for a few cents at Wal Mart

I had a goldfish like that once. I think it was one of those little ten cent feeder fish from the pet store. I called him Geoffrey. He lived about seven years, and got really HUGE. I killed him while doing a water change. I don't know if the water was too cold, or if I didn't treat it well enough or what. I cried. over. a. fish. :'(
