Thats when I noticed I was overly copying, so since then I changed it, and I didn't rip off his design, it was completely differently layed out, using sandstone for a build and as mrfistersr did is not copying.
I need to start doing that. I usually just throw blocks together and hope for the best. Usually with a general idea in my head, though.
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. If someone copies your build, take it for what it is, a painstaking effort to show their admiration for your creativity and skill. Although frustrating if someone believes they are the original and you are the copycat, in this case you were properly given due as the original and for that no harm has been done. It also inspired further improvement and that should be a moment of joy as well....
