Come Play High or Low, EMC's Newest Game Show Style Event! We're still working out the kinks with the game and playing with some variations for this, so I need help testing! When: Today at 5 pm EMC time Where: /v bday2019 on Utopia What: Card Sharks card game modified for EMC How it works as of right now: *rules subject to change if problems are found 2 lucky contestants (chosen by random from attendee list) will compete against each other. Each contestant will try to guess if the next card in the series is higher or lower than the one before. Cards in order: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,J,Q,K,A (no 10) Cards are drawn using a randomizer or a deck of cards, if host has them available IRL. Each contestant gets 3 strikes and 3 passes. Strike = You got the guess wrong and play passes to the opponent. Pass = You want to pass the turn to your opponent for them to try to guess. Points/Scoring: Every correct answer gains you 1 point. Every wrong answer loses you 1 point. Double cards are freebies and earn you a 10k bonus if you get the next card right. At the end of the card line, whichever contestant has the most points WINS!
Your luck is scary terrible. Like I want to make sure a giant safe doesn't fall out of thin air and crush you level of terrible...
So I was there watching that game the other day and I really don't understand the need to use a (pass) not only are you allowing the other player to win instead of you but when your turn comes round again you deal with the same number you passed on so there is no point in passing right?
Problem was noted and rules changed for this next version. Players are now on one game board line instead of being separate.
I was curious about this game yesterday. My game crashed on me along with internet and cable going out. So I missed it.
Interesting. It still seems boring to me, to be honest. Maybe I should look up the actual game show, I wonder what makes it engaging.
Well didn't get back in time, to check it out Next time hopefully. I may feel the same as 607 on the game. Being, I've seen the game show. Thought it was pretty bad. But I still want to play it, never know, I may love it.
