Curious about this subject. There was a thread last week or 2 about protecting the saplings that grow into trees. Would (or could) the same apply to crops like Melons/Pumpkins? More specifically their stems. This would be a great way to protect the crops but also make the melons/pumpkins themselves harvestable by anyone like at an XP farm or something.
