  7. My written poem is all done!
  8. Let me just explain a couple things before I list my artwork (Author's Note):
    1. My artwork is called "Wishes Questions Itself." It's kind of confusing unless I explain here.
    2. The first stanza, (The stanzas are separated by a space), is about Wishes, the character (a personified version of the abstract noun, "Wishes"), talking to Faith about Wishes's doubts.
    3. The second stanza is about Faith explaining what Wishes is thinking/restating or listing Wishes's thoughts.
    4. The last long stanza is about Faith correcting Wishes and explaining why Wishes is wrong.
It's about 2 pages of poetry on paper.
    5. Oh, how I wish I could see the reactions of these readers! Their faces deep into the poem!

    6. LET'S GET STARTED!

    Wishes Questions Itself

    (1st stanza):
Wishes, they question the idea of faith,
    In someone, or in something.
An echoey voice of wishes ask faith:
“Why are people so blind to the fact that we’re just pieces of imagination?
    Imagination formed by a person?”

    (2nd stanza):
Faith’s answer to the curious, questioning wishes is:
“People want to believe, so they do believe.
They don’t believe in you fully.
People believe that they want to believe in a wish.
Some people are dedicated to their wishes and think that one day, their wishes will come true.
When only they realize that their wishes will never once come true on their own.
    People become heartbroken.
    My dear wishes,”
    Faith says,
    “even you have a wish.
Your wish is to quit this curse of letting your believers down.
Your wish happens to forever be in a disposal of your own children.
Wishes are your children and you cannot save them.
You yourself are the curse that will never be broken.
    People will keep on wishing.
People will keep on losing to your kind,
and then your child wishes will die alongside those poor humans that waste away their lives,
dreaming for something that will never come true.

    (3rd stanza):
Faith, it answers the idea of wishes:
    “My dear wishes,
You live within the hearts and souls of your hosts, humans.
You live as the flame in their life, and the flame that burns all their doubts away.
I, faith, am the trust that builds onto those human dreams,
The trust that builds onto your children, other wishes,
Those young wishes become my disciples.
Your children, my disciples, become strong enough to survive in their host, the human heart and soul.
Then, they grow even stronger, so that they can make their hosts happy.
    It’s mutual!”
Faith, it continues to explain to his immortal, not immoral friend:
“You are not simply the sadness and darkness that resides inside a human’s heart and soul.
You and your children have the complexity of being the host’s future and its fate.
You could be the devastation and doom of that human’s future,
But ‘tis the human’s actions and decisions that determine whether you live or you die.
Yes, you are the imagination formed by a person.
And imagination cannot do anything on its own,
    Therefore,
You are not to blame for what’s to come in the future of a human’s life.
    And yes,
The humans are in fact blind to you, as you call yourself imagination,
    And yes,
‘Tis you that they don’t understand.
In time, you will either be destroyed, or reborn, as a truth.
Depending on your strength and size,
Your wish, and the human’s wish,
Might prevail to be the future.”
Wishes questions the idea of faith.
Faith answers the idea of wishes.
    Together,

They can form a stronger bond that could never be broken.

    The End.....
  9. Looks fun! I'll find some time to make something :) Good luck, everyone!

  10. Can I submit a second piece?
  11. Sure!
  12. I'll do this one next.
It's a group of Haiku. (Yes, it's "Haiku" plural)
Anyway, it's a set of 12 Haiku... I hope you enjoy!

    RAIN

    I wish I was rain.
So I could touch someone’s skin,
    And feel what they feel.

    I wish I was rain.
The soothing sound of its voice
    Calls for one to play.
    I wish I was rain.
The soothing touch as it falls
    On top of my face.
    I wish I was rain.
As it touches my own skin
    And feels what I feel.

    I wish I was rain.
So I could fall in puddles
    And make a large flood.
    I wish I was rain.
So my flood could wash away
    The fears of children.
    I wish I was rain.
So the children play with me.
    Play in my puddles.

    I wish I was rain.
A rainbow could form from me
    ...And a bit of light.
    I wish I was rain.
I could get along with light
    And form a beauty.
    I wish I was rain.
In movies it’s a sad sight.
    A real life beauty.
    I wish I was rain.
    To satisfy movie scenes.
    A sense of feeling.
    I wish I was rain.
As I would fall from the clouds,
    I’d watch the world.

  13. I messed up, but on the 3rd Haiku, it's the last line is to the left: "On top of my face."
  14. Can it be something I've already made/something I'm currently working on, or can I not have started it previously?
  15. You can do whatever, the whole idea is for people to share what they want to share, if that is something you have made already then all the better!
  16. bump! A couple great entries so far!
