Hey EMC, Coming Soon to an smp6 Near you, Brought to you By finch, A Public Farm Hub! The Public Farm Hub will consist of a Custom Built Island, with many easter eggs within the island. The Hub is Easy access from the wild spawn (Just on the edge of Protected Spawn, there is a Bridge that runs across the ocean to the island). To get to the island, you can either walk or use a Minecart. This island has been a Rough work so far, between the mobs, tearing down the old items and rebuilding from scratch... I will continue to update this thread, and make an Official thread once the Hub is completed. This Hub will lead to many farms from Iron Farms, to Mob Grinders, to Mob Spawners and Much More! If you want to help, Feel free to donate Any blocks that i would need.... Blocks:-Dirt-Sand-Stone-Oak Logs -Pine Logs -Vines, Grass -Oak Leaves-Dark Oak Logs-Glass-Packed Ice Although the list may seem long, I have many of the items on hand already, plus a few others not on the list. Update 1; The First bridge to the Main island has been started. Working on the Support arches under the bridge. From there I will work on fixing up spawn area a bit and the small island you travel through. Then on the other side of the island you will find the area where the iron farm will be held. Then in the future i will be able to add more farms or others can as well with permission from me...
Just a small screen of the Bridge to the farm.... The sand is the Protected spawn, and where it extends, I repaired it and lit it up to stop mobs, as well as cleaned up the area a bit.... Working on the Island Cleanup, and will soon start the farms, and the bridge through the island... More Updates to come!
Thanks to M4ster_M1ner who donated a Bunch of items towards the Build/Farm (List of items will be provided at a later date). I am Still working on the Hub right now, but will work on getting the farm up and started and then go back to the Hub afterwards. Also Tracks are setup, so players can walk or ride a minecart to the farms.

Here are some Updated Progress of the Public Farm's Hub... In the Hut where all the Rules/Guidelines as well as Farm info and More are located... The Tunnel that will take you down to the Train Station.... The Bridge that you come in on, through the island.... A outside View of where the Info and more Rooms are.... A View of the island from the Bridge you come in on.... The Path that leads to the Lighthouse.... The Lighthouse from peaking out from the Little Cliff.... This has been hard work by Me, with Help from Ellisbrewer.... This is just the Status of the build, and more will come as i finish more of the island. the Train station will hold rails that run back and forth to different farms... The farms will be built once the Hub is finished.... And for a side view of what the island looked like think of a Plains Biome, with nothing but holes and everything all over. everything is looking awesome so far! also, the shaders are beautiful and add to the effect of the pictures
Update #2; Since the last update, there was a Random need that I wanted a Waterfall... So i went and built a Mountain, and made a waterfall, with tunnels throughout the mountain... Check the Screenshots! Tunnel leading up to the top of the Mountain... Tunnel at the lower section of the Mountain... The Waterfall, Ignore that dirt stairs going to the top... And the Picture from the mountain tunnel, but with Epic Graphics... If you want to help contribute to the Hub, Please PM me, ingame or on Forums... ~Finch
This Project is Currently on hold while I finish up a few other projects... The main island is almost done, Just a few more tree's a small section to landscape, and then finish the mountain an all. If you have a Public Farm anywhere on smp6, Feel free to contact me Via PM and we will talk about connecting it. Once I have time, I will work on the nether part to connect farms further away. If you wish, you can choose to use my tracks, or another way you want to use for transportation. I will update this thread once i finished some other projects and/or started to finish this island...
