according to the wiki you can make Chiseled Stone Brick by using two stone brick slabs but it doesn't appear to be working on EMC at all. Also it says you can smelt Stone Brick to make Cracked Stone Brick and that doesn't work either. anyone know what's up with that?
I believe that's a 1.8 feature. Our server still uses 1.7, but 1.8 clients are allowed. I actually didn't know you could make the cracked variant, that's great news Thought you could only make circle and mossy bricks at first
ok that would explain why using 1.8 you see the finished product appear for a moment and then disappear the only issue is that I'm not seeing anywhere on the wiki where they specifically say it's a 1.8 feature, wish they could make that more prominent EDIT: Nevermind, I see it at the very bottom of the wiki page now. My bad.
Yeah, that gets annoying when they don't mention that. But you can visit the 1.8 update wiki page, and you can find the bricks update in there.
