Is it safe to build 3000 blocks from a spawn hub , and there's nobody in this area? I found a Valley that I can't claim because it is not 5K from the hub and And I am having a hard time finding another one that I really like.. Any advice? Thank you for your time.
Check /map while in there or do /map show , then /map and click your name . You will be able to check for others’ structures in the area. If you are using the older spawns(c,n,s,e,w) its more likely to be more crowded than the new ones (ne, sw, se, nw) However if you want to have your outpost officially established it needs to be 5000blocks away, not 3000 As for safety, yeah, I think most griefing situations happen immediately outside of spawn or in outpost whose transportation system is also immediately outside spawn. If you build everything in /bmode there’s nothing to fear. Even without it most blocks are auto protected
