Yup. I've been lagging alot recently, even with optifine. I usually get around 60-70FPS in the wild with optifine, at the LLO about 30-40, but now at the LLO, it's sometimes 15-20, and in the wild, it's 30-40. I downgrade to alpha versions, I get 100FPS with no mods installed, I go to beta versions,I get 90FPS, I go to official release versions, jumpy between 60-70. I go to 1.4, 30-40. I hate Mojang and how they concentrate on new features, and after many complaints they decide to bring out a new patch with some bug - fixes.
I get between 4 and 14 fps in different spots throughout the LLO with Optifine. Today at the meeting I was getting 1 or 2. I lag so bad on EMC I can barely do anything. Sometimes I can't even go up or down a ladder. Why bother trying to play if I can't walk or I end up swamped by mobs? I also lagged so bad the other day I almost drowned. It wouldn't let me swim up.
