Ugh, I'm sorry. I just now found the thread which already addressed this concern. I understand now. That being said, I am very excited about the ways that we'll be able to use slime blocks in 1.8. It will probably work like if you were trying to use a piston to push stuff onto the street. The piston simply doesn't budge. Since the flying machine is run by pistons, it should not cause a problem for residence owners in town.
okay cool. I was thinking about the fun I'm going to have with it and then I thought "uh oh.. what if someone sets one of these loose on the town?" Now I realize that the code is already written such that the signal gets cancelled at the res border.
