Apparently the Minecraft servers where hacked!

If someones account was hacked and they destroyed everything, they can be banned. But once the hacker can not access the account anymore and the usual person can, they would be unbanned because the admins know it wasn't them.

no you dont understand. we wouldnt know if they where 'exploited' or not. and that would also be a poor excuse for somebody to try to get their ban appealed.

The way I understand it, the exploit was being used to get ops permissions. I can't explain why they might log in as imBobertRobert's brother, but would expect them to log in as JustinGuy or one of the other staff who would have more than just user permissions. I do I think I would take the advice to change your password if you have a Mojang account just to be safe though.

Whatever it was, was fixed this morning. Don't worry, there will be others.

they logged into his own 'server' (its really not taht good, dont tell him i said that) and practically blew everything up. he loaded a save but the damage was done.
