  1. Well there is the anti fire spread plugin where wood materials are protected from fire but, I wonder if its possible to make a plugin where ice is not melted from glowstone/torches like a anti melt plugin. That would help so much to build ice structure that you want well lit but don't want to melt. It can be toggled to on and off like the anti fire spread plugin. So if someone can look into this and see if such a plugin is possible. It would be greatly appreciated.
  2. i think this is a good idea, but with bacon involved its really hard to tell.

  4. This was asked for previously, and apparently it is very taxing on the server to constantly have to check if an item should melt or not, similar to how it must check if lava/water should flow or not.
  5. Link me to that thread so I can read over it, maybe revise some of its statements.
  6. now that i think about it, i see this as not a plug-in type thing but more as a game mechanics thing.

  8. Ok then there is no way of adding this, I'll get a mod to close the thread after reading that post.
  9. It was still a good idea :)

Just not feasible at this time.
  10. Well yeah, just that we just need a way larger server to hold this type of plugin without lag. Maybe in the future we can add it when we are capable of doing so.
  11. Well I was slightly wrong on how much lag flow causes (though if player created certain conditions it could cause a lot of lag, and the fact that the flow tag exists does cause lag)

but the statement about melting is still true.

See with the flow flag, it stops the liquid then it stops trying to flow unless something near it updates.

but with melting, itll never stop trying to melt, so the events will keep firing.
