I would have to second this. Also, d1's castle is probably one of the coolest you'll ever see on MC. Don't just look at the outside-- explore the inside too!
This was not on EMP, but on an old Server. It had two factions with each a capital. I build one of the cities + streets to spawn (about 10 min walk to each city from spawn) I think up to now it was the best I did. But my res on Smp3 starts to get competitive (Smp3 6727). But you can't teleport there just to the neighbor res 6839. If you really want to visit it up close give me a msg. Here some screens of the town (Carlym) I was talking about before:
