   Griefing is griefing. There is no spot close enough to the spawn that you can say should be exempt from the rules' protections.

   Exactly my point, so people should not be building anything unless they want to take the risk of it being griefed.

   I said nothing about how it should be exempt from the rules. The first sentences even says "I am not saying the griefer is good and should get away with this"... Its a risk if you choose to build something there.
