haha, that's fair. it's a bit hard to explain as there's a variety of them, but generally, it's a fruit or milk tea with sweet, chewy tapioca/honey pearls at the bottom. you chew on the bubbles as you drink it. i tend to prefer the milk teas :)

"tapioca" I've never heard of that. :P I googled it, and bubble tea itself too: interesting!

and ohhh you’re very lucky cd! i’d love to be able to make it at home, haha. maybe one day, although i doubt i’ll be able go get the same exact flavor i’m fond of from my usual place :)

Same, there is a place right up the road from me that has Sushi and Bubble tea and I get it all the time now

ooo that sounds like a fantastic place! ours only serves bubble tea (of many varieties - they also have a few frozen/coffee drinks) but there's a pretty good variety in the drinks, and then there's macarons. it's a nice little place though, and hey, there's foods along the same strip of shops it's on! so that's nice at least.
