    I know right? It's just a shame that the 3700x revs up the fan when I simply open file explorer. I guess this is a processor that liquid cooling is mandatory. :\

    Correct, and it thermal throttles like mad. Not ot mention how hot it gets with air cooling vs how liquid cooling would tame it and prevent it from thermal throttling.
