Won't work on this server. Server is technically set to Easy mode which means 0% chance to convert. Normal is 50% and Hard is 100%. So it'll never happen. And rightfully so. Making everything 1 emerald each will kill anything left of that market.

Why would you ever want to do that? I don't see why it wouldn't work. I am not aware of any code blocking it.

When you convert them back their trades are lowered

When you convert them back everything is for 1 emerald. It will essentially kill any value of almost all items in the game. No one will want to put any real effort into anything when they will just be way undercut because some get it for nothing. Something that should be patched. I'm sure it won't be though. Not something of importance.

So what this means, Kry (I commented then saw chickeneer commented)- it will work 50% of the time. Meaning, no, not every time. Kloned, i thought the "for one emerald" was patched in 1.15.2 to be more balanced? But yeah, it's still a bit ridiculous how cheap you can get stuff.
You'll lose an average of 50% of your villagers trying this.

Doesn't mean it doesn't work, this is just how the game is coded. I don't think it's worth the time, though.

Trading in town is easier anyways so I am going to just keep doing that
