Yeah, I'm all set for my vision, however, my side/back is in so much pain right now. By Saturday evening I could see fine without eye irritation, but my left eye was blurry still at long range.
I rode my motorcycle over to my neighbors, and as cautious as I am with all the rain we've been getting; I don't really like to get crazy with it in wet conditions, and for that wisdom, I just might have saved my life.
I was crossing a wooden bridge when it slipped right out from me. For fear I was about to go off the bridge when I hit and slid, I grabbed the edge. I tensed my arm and pulled muscles all up and down in my forearm. Ribs, knuckles, elbow, shoulder bruised. I'm okay, and from a standstill, it wouldn't look like anything serious happened, but jeesh it sure did.
wow that is crazy. I am glad you are ok. Sounds like things could have taken a serious wrong turn if you fell off that bridge. I always wanted to ride motorcycles growing up, but I just always hear horrible stories about people dying on them, which in turn ended my desire to own a motorcycle. I'll stick to 4 wheeled vehicles :)
Thank you, buddy, I'm glad it didn't end worse too!! I got into riding stuff when I was a little kid. And it comes with the territory of learning your boundaries really quickly.
It will never stop being a learning experience, but the mastery of it is figuring out where you stand responsibly, with the power it possesses. So yeah, it's like a lot of things in life. Discipline and responsibility are usually what it boils down to. And sometimes no matter how much you are of both, with years of experience, if it's meant to be, your gonna crash.
When I go out for a ride, I take a moment staring off to just think of and appreciate it. Because I know the next time could be my last. It's part of who I am, and who I want to be. And I hope I'm able to enjoy it for many years to come :)
