It's fine, it's the laptop that's poor. :P I'm always really careful with my stuff, I've never had things like this break or issues like this (knocks on wood lol) and now it's load after one another...
Fortunately it's a new laptop with business warranty and the repair was free and the incoming repairs should be free too, and they even come to your house to fix it! Never had that before either, it was great. :) And the people on the phone are really friendly and quick too, so that's also great. :)
