Is the Estonian economy in a boom period or not? Austerity is justified if it is... I get the feeling it's not in a boom period though :P

Back in Spring they decided give out tasks to minister departments to somehow find a way to cut the costs by 3%
So the police did own research and saw 6 million euros are going away, which results losing employees.

Only in few months later will gov reveal how much cuts are they gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

also that one party got angry over that and now one of its member says police director general is bad guy

btw parliament is very keen on giving surveillance rights to military, since president rejected it and has send it to court.

nutshell: Interior minister got triggered over layoff suggestion.
Send his son to give resignation paper and "drafted discipline punishment" paper. Only government can fire him.

Wasn't in 2 meetings where departments decided look up at their own budgets on how to cut 3% costs and then send it to minister for review, while also doing PR communication to its employees.

Was in 1st meeting and even said "not all cuts should be happening" but then gets triggered over layoff plans when it got into media ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
