Quick note: this isn't my code, it's my code changed into Nim code then to Java... But the friend who wrote the Java code (and Nim) wrote it on repl, and left for vacation last night, and I just tried to use it today. (woops, shoulda done that last night). Kinda a woops moment, I forgot you can't use it from a browser.
Also, i'm an idiot with code.
The whole account information is pretty in-depth. They want your name, company address, job title, phone number, etc. Don't know why they need to collect this information.
The upload has roughly 45 minutes left since my internet isn't the fastest thing in the world.
I'm surprised that even worked.... The fact they ask for all that makes me nervous, though... Still kinda ridiculous the common person can't just download it...
It is. I feel like if you actually wanted an account you could just enter the basic info like email, password, and name with actual info, and then just put N/A for thing like company address and stuff.
It's no problem. Kinda stupid that Oracle put the account requirement for personal users. I can understand it for commercial use, but for a person who just wants to program in their spare time or wants to start learning to program, they aren't going to have a company and all that other required information.
