In 2002, Milly Dowler, a thirteen year old girl, went missing and was found murdered. Piers Morgan was the editor of the Daily Mirror when it got implicated in the hacking of her phone (alongside a bunch of soldier's phones, members of the Royal Family, and a few politicians) - as well as police bribery etc. He joked about it, said he didn't do it.
