Kabloofne isn't joking. If you got good grades and you massacre the ACT, you might get some academic scholarship offers.
But don't let that pressure you - the ACT in no way implies how successful of a career you will have or how well you will do in school. As long as you do your best on it that's all that matters.
Yeah.. I know it's important, I'm just irritated that it's important at all. (Especially because of what I'm planning on doing in college - I'm not going to use math for the actual career so I'm irritated I need to do well on math on the ACT. And though I'm pretty sure some aspects of science are used, I don't need THAT much... the other two (English and reading) are useful though.)
