Still has to go through another check in January though. If they reject it then it'll bounce back and forth forever or until regime change. Hopefully that happens. Not betting on it, but there's still a chance.

Actually there's no money under the table. The European Council has no qualms with taking bribes and everything it does is very secretive.

However, the European Parliament counters that by being far less... bribable. The fact that the Parliament voted this through shows that nope, these old people just didn't understand what the hell they were voting for and just messed everything up because it sounded like a good idea to them on paper.

In case anyone sees this and calls me out on it in the future, I should probably clarify that I still like the European Union and the good that it does outweighs the bad, in my eyes. I just don't have a gun to my head telling me to gladly accept every idea they have even if its bad.
