Wanting to be killed because you can't move your arms anymore and are in great pain. I mean, I can understand that it's extremely unpleasant, but as I understand it, there's still a big chance you will recover, and besides, there are probably people who can do way less and are in way greater pains who still contribute to society in some way or another.
